American moves into tie for championship point lead
SPEEDWAY, IN – Exclusive Autosport had a stellar weekend to begin the ‘Month of May’ in Indiana, scoring a win, two podiums, and three top-fives in USF Pro 2000 at the USF Pro Championships Tatuus Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In Race 1 of the doubleheader on the 2.436-mile, 14-turn layout on Saturday morning, Canadian Mac Clark finished a strong second to score his first podium of the season, while 2025 USF2000 champion Jack Jeffers powered to his second win of the season in Race 2 later that day. On the strength of his fifth-place result in Race 1 and his Race 2 victory, Jeffers has moved into a tie for the championship point lead. Thanks to the drivers’ solid results, Exclusive Autosport has also taken the lead in the Team Championship standings after four rounds.
“Indianapolis was a huge weekend for our USF Pro 2000 program,” said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO. “Jack drove like a champion all day on Saturday. His charge through the field in Race 1 after the strategy shuffled things around was incredibly impressive, and then to come back a few hours later and control Race 2 through multiple restarts showed a lot of composure and confidence. Mac also had a fantastic weekend and really deserved that podium finish after the adversity he’s dealt with already this season. Joey unfortunately had some bad luck in Race 2, but he showed strong pace all weekend as well. I’m proud of the effort from the entire team, and to come away from IMS leading the Team Championship and tied for the points lead is a great way to start the Month of May.”
Following testing and practice on Thursday, and a lone qualifying session on Friday, Exclusive’s USF Pro 2000 drivers ran a pair of races on Saturday. Overnight rain resulted in a wet but rapidly drying track for Saturday morning’s Race 1, and this resulted in the need for a mid-race pit stop from Continental rain tires to race slicks. Jeffers started on the outside of the front row and quickly slotted into second and was among the lead group that elected to stay on-track, not wanting to give up position, eventually leading many laps. As the track dried more quickly than expected, EA brought both Clark and Joey Brienza in early, which was ultimately the correct strategy call. Clark powered forward on the dry track to finish a stellar second, while Brienza advanced six positions to 11th. Staying on-track to hold position forced Jeffers into his stop under a full course yellow period, dropping him to 15th behind those who pitted early. Throughout the final 10 laps of the race, Jeffers was on the move and fought his way forward to a massively-important fifth-place result.
The second race of the day was run in fully-dry conditions just hours later, and Jeffers emerged victorious in a race-long battle with Frankie Mossman for the win, defending is lead through four restarts. Jeffers’ margin of victory was just 0.625 seconds, and it was his second win at IMS, having finished first in the second USF2000 race last year. Clark fought hard throughout the 25-lap race to finish eighth, while Brienza was involved in an opening lap, first corner incident that sidelined him from the event.
The weekend results advanced Jeffers into a tie for the championship lead with Mossman at 87 points. Clark’s runner-up finish in Race 1 and pair of top-10s at IMS have helped to balance out his DNFs from Arlington, and he now sits 10th overall in the standings. The team will now look forward to the first of two oval events this year for the USF Pro 2000 drivers. The next stop on the schedule is the Carb Night Classic at the 5/8th mile Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday, May 22.

Driver Quote: “Very grateful and honored to have the Kelley School of Business on the car for the season, starting this weekend at IMS. Even though the race did not go as I hoped, there is a long season left to keep fighting.”
JACK JEFFERS - #92
Qualifying: 2nd – 1:21.809
Race 1: Start – 2nd / Finish – 5th
Race 2: Start – 2nd / Finish - 1st
Driver Quote: “The race was actually quite hectic, there were a lot of full course cautions and safety cars, so it was really just about focusing on the restarts and getting good exits out of the corners that were important leading onto the long straights. VRD and Frankie (Mossman) have been consistent all year, and they’re very fast here, and he gave me a run from my money. He even caught me off-guard me with a move down in Turn 1 and got by me, but I was able to get back by him. In the end, it was about managing the lead and focusing on executing and doing my job. Huge thank you to the entire Exclusive Autosport crew, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, Michael Duncalfe, Josh Cooley, Kimberly Duncalfe, my engineer and driver coach Braden Eves, my mechanics Danny and Remington, Alycia, and of course, my mom. It really is a team effort. It may seem like it’s just the drivers out there and whoever’s the best driver, but it’s a team effort. It’s about the team and driver executing. We all did our part and we came out on top, so we’re going to look to capitalize on this momentum and keep it going into IRP.”
MAC CLARK - #90
Qualifying: 11th – 1:22.148
Race 1: Start – 11th / Finish – 2nd
Race 2: Start – 7th / Finish – 8th
Driver Quote: “Standing on the podium at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after charging from last to P2 was a great feeling. Race 1 was some of the most fun I’ve had behind the wheel in a long time with the changing conditions, non-stop battling, and constant action throughout the field. The entire Exclusive Autosport crew gave me an amazing race car and I’m really proud of the fight we showed all day. Race 2 was a tougher one, we worked our way as high as fourth after starting seventh, but a few issues limited what could’ve been and we came home eighth. There are still a lot of positives to take away from the weekend. We gained valuable ground in the championship and moved up 14 spots in the standings, which says a lot about the effort from everyone involved. Huge thank you to Michael Duncalfe, Josh Cooley, the entire Exclusive Autosport crew, and my partners at Clubine Motorsports, TNG Exotics & Limited Editions, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, and Road to Racing Canada for continuing to believe in me and this journey. I’m proud of the progress we made this weekend and really excited to head into the oval race next.”
