DEForce Racing made its Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires debut in 2018, fielding a two-car effort headed by industry veterans David Martinez and Ernesto Martinez leading the squad and its drivers. The team, which also runs a Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship squad, is based out of MSR Houston in Angleton, Texas.

The Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) team was set up with a focus of providing the very best race team in the junior ranks of open wheel racing. Fielding cars in the major American open-wheel development series, Jay is giving back to the sport he dearly loves, teaching his drivers the secrets of winning races, championships and being leaders. Having achieved much success in his career, passing this experience onto his drivers and watching them develop is a passion of Jay’s.
 
Jay has worked hard to put the best people around him and his program, from ex-F1/IndyCar engineers and mechanics, to the latest technology and software to separate JHDD from the rest. Juncos Hollinger Racing is a championship-winning team fielding multiple cars in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

Ricardo Juncos announced in 2021 the formation of Juncos Hollinger Racing with co-owner Brad Hollinger. The partnership between Juncos and Hollinger brings an expansive future for the race team and their state-of-the-art headquarters located just a half mile away from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The mission of Juncos Hollinger Racing is to develop drivers from around the world into the next level of their careers through the Driver Development Program. Through this program, the team not only works with drivers on track to improve their skills behind the wheel but also gives them the tools needed to understand the engineering and mechanics of the car. Drivers who have participated in this program and have gone on to compete in the next level include Connor de Phillippi, Nicolas Dapero, Tatiana Calderon, Peter Dempsey, Conor Daly, Spencer Pigot, Victor Franzoni, Kyle Kaiser, Rinus VeeKay, Rasmus Lindh, Dalton Kellett, and Sting Ray Robb.

Along with focusing on driver development, Juncos Hollinger Racing will expand into a multi-year full-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES program beginning in 2022.

Legacy Autosport is a race team ran by the Meyer family, whose grandfather and great grandfather was Louis Meyer, the first three-time champion of the Indianapolis 500. The legacy perseveres, with the younger Meyers continuing the winning ways of the family.  Legacy Autosport is focused on driver development with a goal of helping drivers become successful on the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires and beyond.

Legacy Autosport is based in Lebanon, Indiana, just outside of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the heart of the Motor Racing Capital of the World. Louis “Mike” Meyer has a season of experience in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship in the Road to Indy as a  winning crew chief for Alex Baron, including the Indianapolis Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Mike, the Owner/Team Manager/Crew Chief, has spent the previous 13 years in Indy Lights, winning five championships, countless race wins, pole positions and four Freedom 100 wins at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Louis “Butch” Meyer brings a story book career in automobile racing which includes building IndyCar motors with several manufactures and teams, five years as technical director of the Indy Lights program and ownership of an Indy Lights team.

Miller Vinatieri (MVM) Motorsports, LLC is a professional auto racing team owned by three-time Indy 500 starter Dr. Jack Miller and four-time Super Bowl champion and Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri. The Indianapolis, Indiana based team has fielded multiple entries in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda program in the past, but entered the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires in 2019 with a two-car program headed by Jack William Miller. The team will also field a squad in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship in 2021, with Miller graduating up the Road to Indy ladder.

Pabst Racing has been preparing winning race cars since 1983. The Pabst team was started by Augie Pabst Jr., former sports car racing legend from the 1950s and early 1960s who won many races and championships throughout his career. Current President Augie Pabst III (a former driver as well) took over the business in 1991. By 1998 Augie III decided to focus on owning and maintaining a wide variety of winning racecars including SCCA Spec Racer, Shelby Can-Am, 911 Porsche, Ford Mustang GT-1 and primarily Van Diemen Formula 2000 cars.

Winners of the 2017, 2018 and 2019 USF2000 team championships, Pabst Racing will field squads in both the USF2000 Championship and the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires in 2021.

About Turn 3 Motorsport: Turn 3 Motorsport is a full-service operation specializing in racecar preparation, engineering, and driver development. Founded and managed by racecar driver and coach Peter Dempsey, T3M is focused on professional service, team member growth, and high-level performance across multiple racing series.

In 2019, the team secured the Blue Marble Cocktails Radical Cup North America championship titles in the 1340cc, 1500cc, and overall classes. Later that year, Peter and Turn 3 Motorsport achieved a record-breaking win at the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill endurance race, piloting the #10 Eastern Racing / Turn 3 Motorsport Radical SR3 RSX 1340 to a dominating win, leading 638 out of 672 laps, and becoming the first car under two liters to achieve the overall win.

In the team’s rookie season, Turn 3 Motorsport attracted attention out of the gate by winning the season opener of the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires in a sweeping performance with Singaporean driver Danial Frost. Frost and the team went on to achieve a pole position, six podium finishes, and third overall in the championship in 2020.

In 2021, T3M expanded its presence in the Road to Indy by introducing a two-car program into the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship alongside its Indy Pro 2000 Championship campaign. In its debut USF2000 season, the team found victory at the season finale with American driver Josh Green as well as earning an additional podium and fifth overall in the championship. The team earned further accolades in the Indy Pro 2000 series with a race win at the season finale by Irish driver James Roe as well as a pole position at World Wide Technology Raceway and seventh overall in the championship.

Making a name for themselves in several open wheel series in 2019 and 2020, Velocity Racing Development captured the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda this season. In 2021, the team joins the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires with a multi-car effort. Set to compete with a pair of Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship entries and one Indy Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires competitor, the Atlanta Motorsports Park-based program will aim to continue their successes in two of the most challenging divisions in North American motorsports.

Led by Dan Mitchell, the British born Engineer / Team Owner is all hands on deck as he is the backbone of the VRD program, while his worldwide connections in motorsports attract drivers from many different disciplines to open wheel racing.
