VRD Racing's Dan Mitchell expressed confidence in the returning driver: "Frankie showed excellent pace and progression after joining us mid-season last year. His pole position at Portland demonstrated his qualifying speed, and his podium finishes proved he can compete at the front consistently. We're excited to build on that foundation from day one in 2026 and compete for wins throughout the season."
