Toronto, Ont., Canada – TJ Speed Motorsports wrapped up a resilient weekend on the streets of downtown Toronto, the penultimate event of the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Championship season and the only round held outside the United States. The temporary street circuit proved challenging, but the team displayed determination and pace as they continue to battle in the championship hunt.

Ariel Elkin led the charge for TJ Speed, earning back-to-back fifth-place finishes after starting 10th in race one and eighth in race two. Navigating the unforgiving walls of the Toronto street course, Elkin showed composure and consistency as he aims for a podium result in the USF Pro 2000 Championship point chase

“This track demands everything from the drivers,” said TJ Speed Team Owner Tim Neff. “There’s no margin for error, and unfortunately, we had that with the sister car in race one.”

Teammate Sebastian Manson faced a more challenging outing after qualifying both races toward the rear of the field. A tough incident in race one forced an early retirement and a move to a backup car, but Manson also retired from race two after only five laps and was classified in P18.

“Street racing is never easy, but weekends like this show who’s willing to fight through adversity,” added Neff. “Ariel continues to be in the thick of the championship battle, and Sebastian showed real resolve bouncing back in race two. We’re proud of the effort and looking ahead with confidence.”

With just one race weekend left in the 2025 campaign, TJ Speed will now turn their attention to the season finale at Portland International Raceway, August 7–10.

Looking forward, TJ Speed will also begin to build their 2026 USF Pro 2000 campaign, testing drivers as early as next week. Additionally, TJ Speed will begin their preparation for the Castrol Toyota Formula Oceania Trophy in New Zealand alongside HMD Motorsports. Interested parties are asked to contact TJ Speed.
