TORONTO, Ontario – Turn 3 Motorsport returned to winning form on the streets of Toronto this weekend as Alessandro de Tullio captured the victory in Race 2 of the doubleheader event, marking his fourth win of the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire. The team showed strength and resilience throughout the weekend, earning a Hard Charger Award for Tyke Durst in Race 1 and recording a total of five top-10 finishes across both races.

Set on the tight and unforgiving 1.786-mile, 11-turn circuit at Exhibition Place, the Toronto event served as the penultimate round of the 2025 season and hosted Rounds 15 and 16 of the USF Pro 2000 Championship. With only one event remaining, the high-stakes weekend delivered intense racing, dramatic turns of fortune, and a critical opportunity for the team to make gains in the championship standings.

Race 1 Recap
The weekend began with de Tullio lining up P2 for Race 1, but his race unraveled quickly as he dropped to seventh off the start due to a broken spark plug that compromised his engine performance before the green flag even fell. He didn’t have much of a chance to recover either, as contact with Ariel Elkin at Turn 5 on Lap 4 caused damage that ended his race early and resulted in a DNF with an 18th-place classification.

Despite de Tullio’s misfortune, the rest of the Turn 3 lineup pushed forward. Durst delivered a standout drive, gaining 11 positions to finish eighth from P19 and earning the Tilton Hard Charger Award—his second of the season and a new career-best finish. Brady Golan charged from P18 to P9, marking his first top-ten finish on a road or street course in the series. Cooper Becklin and Nicholas Monteiro battled through damage and attrition to finish P11 and P12, respectively.

Race 2 Recap
De Tullio bounced back in commanding fashion on Sunday, starting from pole position and reclaiming the top step of the podium after a thrilling last-lap pass for the lead at Turn 1. Despite continued engine issues throughout the race, de Tullio held off fierce competition and executed a daring move down the inside to take the victory— his first win since a dominant double victory weekend at NOLA, following his season-opening win in St. Petersburg.

Behind him, Monteiro and Becklin secured top-ten finishes in P7 and P8, respectively. Golan and Durst fought through the midfield, with Golan finishing P13 and Durst P14.

De Tullio now sits fourth in the championship standings, just 13 points away from second place with two races remaining at the season finale in Portland in just a couple of weeks.

“Toronto was a great redemption weekend. Finally getting back on the top step — where we deserve to be — felt amazing. Race 1 was tough with an issue out of our control taking us out of contention, but I’m super happy we were able to bounce back and win Race 2. The whole team has worked incredibly hard, and this win is a reward for that. I’m looking forward to finishing strong in Portland.”

“Leaving Toronto with some hard lessons and mixed results. I felt like I made a really good step by the end of Day 1, only to undo it all with a small mistake. After that, it was about salvaging what we could — and we managed that with a season-best result in Race 1. Race 2 was definitely disappointing, but I’ll keep learning and keep pushing. We’ll aim to take another step forward on the West Coast.”

“What a weekend in Toronto! I’m grateful for the chance to race on such an iconic street circuit and for everything I learned over these intense few days. Huge thanks to the entire team for the incredible work — especially Kevin, my engineer, for all the support, and to Peter and everyone who helped make this weekend happen. It’s always special to be surrounded by people who believe in the process. Now it’s time to shift focus to Portland and finish the season strong.”

“All done in Toronto — it’s always a great time racing here. We had the pace all weekend, but unfortunately didn’t get the opportunity to show it in qualifying. That said, we made some big steps overall, especially in race pace, and that’s going to help us heading into Portland. I’m looking forward to finishing strong at the final round.”

#3 Brady Golan // USF Pro 2000
“Toronto’s an incredible city and always an awesome place to race. The fans, the atmosphere—everything about it is special. Unfortunately, I just didn’t quite have the pace this weekend. It wasn’t the result we were aiming for, but I’m grateful to the team for their nonstop effort and support. We’ll take what we’ve learned, reset, and focus on Portland. I’m ready to bounce back.”

Team Owner, Peter Dempsey
“Toronto is always one of the toughest races of the year. It’s the most unforgiving track we go to, and unfortunately, a few of our drivers experienced that firsthand. Overall, it was a strong weekend. We had great pace with Alessandro—he was very unlucky in Q1 with the red flag coming out just before the timeline, which cost him what would have been a pole lap. Race 1 was unfortunate with the engine issue, but he rebounded in style with a last-lap pass to win Race 2.

“The rest of the lineup had pace at different points, but track position is everything at a place like this, and they just didn’t quite have the opportunity to show their full potential. Still, to come away with a pole, a win, and four top-ten finishes across the board really shows the strength of our program. Massive thanks to the entire crew — especially Matt and Neil, who crew chiefed this weekend. We had a lot of damage to manage, and we didn’t miss a single session. Now our full focus shifts to Portland for the season finale.”

Turn 3 Motorsport will return to action August 7–10 for the final round of the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire at Portland International Raceway. The 1.964-mile permanent road course will host the season’s last two races as the team looks to close out the year on a high note.
