American ready to advance in sophomore season
BROWNSBURG, IN – Exclusive Autosport is excited to announce long-time team member Joey Brienza II as its first confirmed USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire driver for the 2026 season. The 21-year-old Indiana University junior is coming off a solid rookie USF Pro 2000 season that included six top-10 finishes in a campaign that resulted in an 11th-place finish in the overall point standings. The 2024 USF2000 Rookie of the Year posted a top result of sixth at Road America in July and capped the season with three top-10s in the final four races at Toronto and Portland, building momentum for the 2026 schedule. This will be Brienza’s sixth year with the team.
“I am very excited to announce that I am back with Exclusive Autosport for the 2026 USF Pro 2000 season, and my sixth year with the team,” enthused Brienza. “The team has become a family to me, and I am extremely grateful to Michael Duncalfe and Josh Cooley for their continuous and unwavering support and the privilege to represent Exclusive Autosport. I would also like to thank my family for their support and for pushing me to be the best I can be. I am pumped for the upcoming season and can’t wait to build off our 2025 season, bring it on!”
The team echoes Joey’s excitement for the coming season.
“We are thrilled to have Joey back with Exclusive Autosport for the 2026 USF Pro 2000 season,” said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO. “Joey has been a part of the EA family for many years, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch his growth both on and off the track. His work ethic, determination, and positive attitude make him an outstanding representative of our team, and we’re confident he’ll continue to build on the momentum he created last season.”
The USF Pro 2000 Championship is more competitive than ever. Building on the valuable experience from his rookie campaign, Joey has approached the off-season with focus and determination. His off-season testing program has been complemented by extensive simulator work and intense training regimen with the professionals at PitFit Indianapolis. Brienza is leaving nothing to chance as he gears up for the 2026 season and the highly anticipated season opener on the Streets of Arlington.
