Jeffers adds Rookie of the Year honors as Eves and Labonte earn year-end awards

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Exclusive Autosport closed the 2026 USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire season with a championship sweep of its own, as Jack Jeffers secured both the 2026 Driver Championship and Rookie of the Year Championship, Braden Eves was named Engineer of the Year, and Dany Labonte earned Mechanic of the Year honors. The titles cap off a standout season for the Brownsburg, Indiana-based organization and mark Exclusive Autosport’s second USF Pro 2000 driver championship, following its 2022 title with current NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Louis Foster, and its third driver title in the USF Pro Championships in five years.

Jeffers put an emphatic exclamation point on the championship at Road America, sweeping all three races from pole and leading every lap of the September 25-26 tripleheader. The 20-year-old entered the finale with the title still to be decided and left Elkhart Lake as a back-to-back USF Pro ChampionshipS title winner after capturing the 2025 USF2000 driver championship with Exclusive Autosport one season earlier.

“What an incredible way to finish the season. Winning the USF Pro 2000 Championship and Rookie of the Year Championship with Jack is something we are extremely proud of,” said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO of Exclusive Autosport. “From the very beginning, Jack has shown tremendous speed, determination and maturity, and watching him continue to develop and deliver throughout not only this season, but also his entire time with Exclusive Autosport, has been incredibly rewarding. He earned this championship, and I couldn’t be happier for him.

"Jack’s progression through the junior formula ranks has been remarkable. He won the Lucas Oil School of Racing Championship in 2022, joined Exclusive Autosport for his first test with the team in 2023, won the YACademy Juniors Championship in 2024, finished fifth in the USF Juniors Championship in 2024 as well as winning the 2025 USF2000 Championship. To now add the 2026 USF Pro 2000 Championship and the 2026 Rookie of the Year Championship to that list is an incredible accomplishment. Jack has continued to rise to every challenge put in front of him, and we are extremely proud to have been part of this chapter of his career.

“Championships are never won by one person. They are the result of countless hours of work, preparation and sacrifice from an entire group of people, both at the track and back at the shop. I especially want to congratulate Braden Eves on being named Engineer of the Year and Dany Labonte on earning Mechanic of the Year. Braden’s commitment, knowledge and relationship with Jack were instrumental in what they accomplished this season, and Dany’s attention to detail, work ethic and commitment to excellence were equally important. These awards are incredibly well-deserved. I’m proud of our entire crew, engineering group and everyone behind the scenes who continued to push all season long. To win the USF Pro 2000 Championship just one year after Jack and Exclusive Autosport won the USF2000 Championship together speaks volumes about Jack as a driver, about the people surrounding him, and about the driver-development program we have built at Exclusive Autosport. I’m also very grateful to our partner, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, and everyone who supported us throughout the season. This championship belongs to the entire organization.

“I also want to recognize Anthony Martella and Joey Brienza for the work they put in this season,” Duncalfe continued. “Anthony has shown tremendous pace and potential in both USF2000 and USF Pro 2000, and I fully expect him to be a very strong competitor next year. He has all the pieces, and the work he is already putting in toward 2027 will set him up to start 2027 in a strong position. Joey also made significant gains over the course of the season. We saw steady progress throughout the year, and at Road America it really started to come together for him. He matched his best finish of the season and put together three solid races. Both drivers have given us a lot to build on as we turn our attention to 2027.”

The championship was decided in Race 2 at Road America, but Jeffers controlled the finale from the outset. He topped both Thursday test sessions before earning pole for Race 1 with a lap time of 2:01.5977. He converted that pole into victory, handled two caution periods cleanly and set the fastest lap of the race.

On Saturday morning, Jeffers won Race 2 by 7.5 seconds over title rival Leonardo Escorpioni and again recorded the fastest lap, officially clinching the 2026 USF Pro 2000 Championship. With his 2025 USF2000 title and 2026 USF Pro 2000 crown, Jeffers joined Matthew Brabham, Kyle Kirkwood, Christian Rasmussen and Max Garcia as drivers to win the two championships in consecutive seasons.

With the championship secured, Jeffers completed the weekend sweep in Race 3, defending his lead through four restarts to finish the season with three victories in three races at Road America. Across the finale, he started from pole in all three races and led all 45 racing laps.

Brienza also ended his season on an encouraging note, recording finishes of seventh in Race 1 and 10th in both Races 2 and 3, matching his best result of the year in Race 1. Martella’s weekend was disrupted by an incident in Race 1 and an engine issue in Race 2, but he rebounded to finish ninth in the season finale. Both drivers now turn their focus to offseason preparation and the 2027 campaign.

With the 2026 season now complete, the team will turn its focus on testing for the 2027 season and the upcoming USF Pro Championship Fall Combine test on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on October 17-18.

Race 1: Start – 1st / Finish – 1st
Race 2: Start – 1st / Finish – 1st
Race 3: Start – 1st / Finish – 1st
Driver Quote: “I’m just elated. To come into the final weekend, win all three races and leave as the USF Pro 2000 champion is an incredible way to finish the season. Braden Eves and I have talked all year about not putting too much into test-day times because everything always tightens up when it matters. We knew we had a good package and that we had the pace, and this weekend was really about managing everything, executing when we needed to, and going for it when the opportunities were there. This championship means so much to me and my career, and it really shows all the hard work that everyone at Exclusive Autosport has put in. To finish it off with three wins is just the exclamation mark on top. Ever since I joined the team in 2023, there’s been a real bond. It’s become a family. They welcomed me with open arms, had my back, and looked out for me every step of the way. Michael Duncalfe and Joshua Cooley have always had my best interests at heart, and I can’t thank them, Braden, my mechanic Dany Labonte, the entire team, my family, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, and USF Pro Championships enough. We knew from the beginning that we were capable of winning races and championships. It was about putting in the work and going out and getting as many as we could. To sweep the final weekend and win the championship, I’d say we did a job well done.”

ANTHONY MARTELLA - #93
Qualifying: 8th – 2:02.7534
Race 1: Start – 8th / Finish – 16th
Race 2: Start – 14th / Finish – 15th
Race 3: Start – 14th / Finish – 9th
Driver Quote: “It was a tough weekend overall but we showed strong pace in some of the practices, and I was feeling confident going into qualifying, until everything started to unravel. Technical issues and bad luck made it hard for us to show our true potential. It was a hard way to end our season, but this will only make us hungrier going into the off-season. Massive thanks to everyone at Exclusive Autosport for all their hard work trying to make the situations better, as well as my engineer Matt Curry and driver coach Oliver Askew. Shoutout to everyone at NIN Transport, Green Savoree, Young Drivers of Canada, Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame and my family for their continued support and belief in me. The work has already started for 2027.
