Jeffers thus became the fifth driver after Matthew Brabham, Kyle Kirkwood, Christian Rasmussen and Max Garcia to claim back-to-back championship titles in USF2000 and USF Pro 2000.

Florida-based Brazilian Leonardo Escorpioni (Turn 3 Motorsport) chased home Jeffers this morning after finding a way past TJ Speed Motorsports’ Thomas Schrage, from Bethel, Ohio, while the Pabst Racing pair of G3 Argyros, from Newport Beach, Calif., and Colin Aitken, from Jacksonville Beach, Fla., completed the podium in this afternoon’s final race of the season.

Jeffers earned his sixth and seventh Continental Tire Pole Awards by virtue of producing the best second-fastest lap of the entire field during the lone qualifying session on Friday.

He was joined on the front row this morning by Schrage, who shadowed the champion elect during the opening five laps without ever looking likely to be able to make a pass. Jeffers’ car was simply too strong. Thereafter, Jeffers pulled away at will.

Schrage instead fell into the clutches of Escorpioni, who made an excellent exit to Turn Five, drove alongside Schrage on the uphill run to Turn Six, then calmly slipped past into second place.

After 15 laps of green-flag racing, Escorpioni finished just over 7.5 seconds in arrears of Jeffers, who was finally able to celebrate his championship win in the best possible style.

Schrage rounded out the podium in third, well clear of Aitken and Argyros. Teddy Musella, from Orlando, Fla., finished a couple of seconds in arrears, just ahead of VRD Racing teammate Frankie Mossman, from Newport Beach, Calif. New Zealander Sebastian Manson (Turn 3 Motorsport) and JT Hoskins (JHDD powered by ECR), from Sarasota, Fla., completed the top 10. Hoskins also earned his second Tilton Hard Charger Award in as many days.

The season finale once again was all about Jeffers, who again led from flag to flag. Only this time there were a couple of interruptions, firstly due to a multi-car incident at Turn One which brought out the red flags, and then another when Turn 3 Motorsport teammates Tyke Durst, from Charlotte, N.C., and Brady Golan, from Austin, Texas, tangled in Turn Five. All drivers escaped without injury, although both debutant Clemente Huerta (JHDD powered by ECR), from Santiago, Chile, and Golan were assessed post-race penalties for incident responsibility.

Schrage once again started second, only to fall by the wayside after two laps when his car’s left-rear suspension abruptly failed in Turn Eight, thereby bringing his fine streak of four podiums and 16 top-10 results to an end.

Argyros found his car much more to his liking in the final race and actually took the challenge to Jeffers, finishing only a half-second behind. Aitken, too, chased hard, while Escorpioni also was in close attendance with Mossman completing the top five.

Escorpioni’s finish clinched the Team Championship for Turn 3 Motorsport.

TJ Speed Motorsports’ Jeshua Alianell, from The Woodlands, Texas, mopped up the final Tilton Hard Charger Award of the season after climbing from 13th to seventh.

Jeffers capped his magnificent campaign by securing two more PFC Awards for car owners Josh Cooley and Michael Duncalfe. He also claimed the GhostLap Fastest Race Lap Award this morning.

Jeffers will have an opportunity to celebrate his championship – and a scholarship valued at almost $600,000 to advance to INDY NXT in 2027 – at tomorrow’s season-ending banquet, after which attention will switch toward next year with the upcoming USF Pro Fall Combine Test at Indianapolis Grand Prix road course on October 17/18.

It means a ton in that aspect, and to be going out with wins like this is the exclamation mark on top. It's like I said last year, ever since I joined the team in 2023, it's been a real bond and like a real family and they've welcomed me with open arms and had my back and looked out for me every step of the way. And Josh [Cooley] and Michael [Duncalfe] have always had my best interests at heart. I can't thank them enough for that. We knew right from the start that we were capable of wins and championships. So, it was kind of just that project of going and getting as many as we can. And I'd say we did a job well done.”

Leonardo Escorpioni (#4 Data Pioneer Solutions/Corix/Peer 1-Turn 3 Motorsport Tatuus IP-22): “I'm super happy we made a step up from yesterday. I think this is the quickest we've ever been at this track, honestly and I am happy about that. You guys [at Exclusive] have been too quick, but it is what it is.”

Thomas Schrage (#26 Doug Mockett & Company/Airport Electric/R4D Motorsport-TJ Speed Motorsports Tatuus IP-22): “I struggled a lot towards the end. I think the last couple races have shown what we can go into next year with. I plan to come back to this, so hopefully we can win some more races next year. I just have to thank TJ Speed, Tim [Neff] and everybody on the crew.”

Race 2:

Jack Jeffers (#92 USF Pro Championships/Exclusive Autosport Tatuus IP-22): “It's all about preparation and executing. We've all done our part, Braden [Eves] and I especially. We worked incredibly hard at it. We both were thrown in the deep end, I think, together. It was kind of either sink or swim together. We swam and we were able to get it done.”

G3 Argyros (#18 Positive Beverage/Elephant Cooperation-Pabst Racing Tatuus IP-22): “We both had our fun racing and chasing around here. Last time [in June] he couldn't catch me and pass me, this time I couldn't catch him and pass him. This season's been incredible. This is a small part of a big career to come and I had to take a little slow in-lap and really take it all in. It's going to be the last time racing these things so thanks to the whole Pabst crew and Augie for taking a risk on me. It's been a hell of a year and I couldn't think of a better way to end it off by putting on a good old battle for the fans.”

Colin Aitken (#19 Morgan Stanley.Hennessy Performance-Pabst Racing Tatuus IP-22): “I had a great start, got to fourth, tucked in and finally on one of the restarts, I got up to third. I had Leo pressuring me the whole race, so very stressful, but I stayed consistent, stayed positive and just kept laying down lap times. I'm still on the third step of the podium, so I'm very happy.”
