MARKHAM, Ont., Canada – Turn 3 Motorsport completed an eventful weekend at the inaugural Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham with Sebastian Manson leading the team with a fourth-place finish in Race 2 of the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship. Brady Golan and Tyke Durst each added sixth-place results across the doubleheader as Turn 3 Motorsport maintained its lead in the Team Championship following a weekend significantly condensed by delays in completing the new temporary street circuit.
The weekend began with an unexpected change of plans when all Friday on-track activity was postponed as preparations continued on the new Markham circuit. Event organizers cited the need to ensure driver safety and complete the circuit certification process, shifting all USF Pro 2000 activity to Saturday. With qualifying removed from the condensed schedule, competitors had only a shortened practice session to learn the brand-new 12-turn, 2.1-mile temporary street circuit before heading directly into Race 1, with the grid set by championship points.
With Leonardo Escorpioni and Michael Costello absent from the Canadian round, Turn 3 Motorsport fielded three cars for Golan, Manson and Durst. Golan started the opening 15-lap race seventh, with Manson 10th and Durst 12th.
Manson immediately went on the attack, charging from 10th to sixth on the opening lap. The #22 driver remained in the fight throughout the caution-filled race and continued to push forward following the final restart, gaining two positions out of the hairpin to move into fifth. Manson went for another move in the closing battle but ultimately lost two positions, crossing the line seventh after an impressive charge through the field.
Golan also worked his way forward during the closing stages, navigating the late-race battles to cross the line sixth, while Durst was classified 11th after an eventful opening race.
Race 2 gave Manson another opportunity to showcase his pace around the challenging temporary street circuit. Starting seventh, the #22 driver quickly moved into sixth before making a strong move on the #77 car of Frankie Mossman following a restart to take over fifth and continue his charge toward the front. Behind him, Durst was forced into recovery mode after an early incident at the hairpin dropped the #3 machine to 11th, while Golan climbed from 12th to ninth during the opening stages.
As a series of cautions and restarts shaped the second half of the 25-lap race, Manson and Durst continued to make progress through the field. Durst recovered to eighth before gaining two more positions during the late-race battles to climb into sixth, while Manson moved into fourth and within striking distance of the final podium position. Golan's charge unfortunately came to an early end following contact with the wall on Lap 13.
With just three laps remaining, Manson went on the attack for third, racing side-by-side through multiple corners with the #26 car of Thomas Schrage in a fierce battle for the final podium position. Manson ultimately crossed the line fourth, narrowly missing his first podium of the season but matching his best finish of 2026 for the second time this year. Durst completed his impressive recovery in sixth, giving Turn 3 Motorsport two cars inside the top six in Race 2 and its third top-six result of the Markham weekend.
Despite competing with a reduced three-car lineup in Markham, Turn 3 Motorsport leaves Canada still atop the Team Championship standings. Escorpioni, who was unable to compete in Markham as a pending immigration matter prevented him from traveling to Canada in time for the event, remains firmly in championship contention. The five-time race winner and five-time polesitter sits second in the Drivers Championship, 33 points from the lead following the two-race weekend.

“It was a pretty good weekend in Markham with a P4 and P7. Not having qualifying definitely wasn’t ideal, but it was an amazing circuit and I really enjoyed racing here. We had a great start in Race 1 and made up a lot of positions, and in Race 2 we were getting closer and closer to that podium. We fell just a little short in the end, but it was still a strong result and some good points for the team. Now we’re onto the Milwaukee Mile and hopefully we can finally get that podium.”
#3 Tyke Durst // USF Pro 2000 FHI
“The roller coaster just keeps getting crazier. Markham definitely had its peaks and valleys, from not being sure we’d even get on track to bringing home some decent points at the end of the event. This weekend had the most questions coming into this final sprint, and I’m glad to report that the #3 car crew passed the test. We didn’t have control over most of the unfortunate things that happened to us, from starting at the back based on points to getting caught up in incidents at the hairpin, but the things we did have control over, we did well. I’m mostly satisfied with the end result and really looking forward to the next rounds and pushing harder for the results we know we’re capable of.”
#44 Brady Golan // USF Pro 2000 Marina
“Markham was definitely an interesting weekend with all of the schedule changes, but once we finally got on track, I thought we made the most of the opportunities we had. We came away with a solid P6 in Race 1, and I felt like we were making good progress again in Race 2 before our day unfortunately ended early. It wasn’t quite the finish to the weekend we wanted, but there were still plenty of positives to take away. A huge thank you to everyone on the #44 car and the entire Turn 3 Motorsport team for adapting to everything thrown at us this weekend. I’m looking forward to getting back after it at Milwaukee.”

“It was certainly a tricky weekend from a scheduling standpoint. Not having Leo (Escorpioni) with us was tough, and not having the opportunity to qualify hindered us a bit by putting us toward the back of the field, but I’m super proud of the efforts from all three drivers. Seb (Manson) had one of his strongest weekends of the year. His racing was very aggressive, and he was rewarded for that with a great result. Brady (Golan) and Tyke (Durst) also managed to come away with some solid finishes, which was a huge help in collecting valuable points for the Team Championship.
“Markham is an event with huge potential, and we’d love the opportunity to come back in 2027. The team ran very well throughout the weekend, and we can’t thank our crew enough for their continued effort, especially through this recent stretch from Portland to Markham. Now we move on to the Milwaukee Mile, and we’re fully committed to finishing the season as strongly as possible.”
The USF Pro 2000 Championship returns to action next week at the historic Milwaukee Mile, marking the second oval event of the 2026 season and another unique challenge in the championship’s closing stretch. Turn 3 Motorsport will return to the one-mile oval with valuable experience from the official series test earlier this season as the team looks to build on its Markham results and continue its pursuit of both the Drivers and Team Championship titles.
