Heading into the season finale with a doubleheader at Sonoma Raceway this weekend, Juncos Racing is set for a tight battle for the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires. Juncos Racing continues to lead the championship while driver Spencer Pigot leads the driver’s championship.

Ready to close out her first season in the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, Julia Ballario is prepared to finish strong at Sonoma Raceway this weekend. Rounds 13 and 14 will be on a 2.385 mile 12-turn road course located in the hills of Sonoma, California. Ballario’s team Juncos Racing currently leads the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship going into the season finale.

Garett Grist won the most recent natural terrain road course event at Mid-Ohio, while teammate Shelby Blackstock travels to the double-header season finale in California on the heels of a podium finish in Milwaukee.

Juncos Racing’s Spencer Pigot captured his sixth win of the season in the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires in Round 12 of the Allied Building Products Pro Mazda Oval Challenge at The Milwaukee Mile. Teammate José Gutiérrez took home his first career pole in the Pro Mazda series. Juncos Racing leads the championship while driver Spencer Pigot leads the driver’s championship with only two races remaining this season.

Team Pelfrey displayed remarkable resilience during a challenging weekend at the historic Milwaukee Mile oval. Fast-emerging Brazilian driver Nicolas Costa emerged with another solid top-five result after leading briefly in the early stages, while Canadian teammate Dalton Kellett overcame a heavy crash on Saturday morning to bring his hastily rebuilt car home to a plucky 11th-place finish.
