American Spencer Pigot and Canadian Scott Hargrove will continue their battle for supremacy in the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires at the Cooper Tires Pro Mazda Grand Prix on August 1-3. After nine races and with five rounds remaining, the pair are separated by just 17 points prior to this weekend’s twin bill of 40-minute races at the 2.258-mile, 13-turn Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

Lift, who has raced at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course under Formula Mazda trim as a part of the SCCA Majors tour, is on a steep learning curve, not only relearning braking points as part of a new car, but sizing up the competition.
