PITTSBORO, Ind. — TJ Speed Motorsports made an immediate impact in their first-ever visit to the Milwaukee Mile, taking a dominant victory in Round 15 of the 2026 USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship. The historic one-mile oval hosted the penultimate event weekend of the season, with TJ Speed Motorsports fielding Thomas Schrage and Jeshua Alianell for the team’s first oval challenge at the circuit and second oval event of the season.

Thomas Schrage delivered a standout performance, securing his first career USF Pro 2000 win after earning his first Continental Tire Pole Award earlier in the weekend. Starting from the front, Schrage controlled all 75 laps of the race with a composed and precise drive to lead TJ Speed Motorsports to its first victory at the Milwaukee Mile.

The challenge was heightened by inclement weather that forced the race to be postponed by a full day, creating an extended gap between qualifying and the green flag. With the race delayed until Sunday, drivers had to reset and refocus before returning to the track, adding another variable to an already demanding weekend on the flat-banked oval.

The result is even more impressive considering Schrage did not participate in the series’ Milwaukee test. With only two 30-minute practice sessions to learn the track before qualifying, Schrage and the TJ Speed Motorsports crew quickly found the pace needed to challenge for the top step of the podium. Despite the limited track time and the disruption to the weekend schedule, Schrage remained composed when it mattered most, converting his pole position into a lights-to-flag victory. The result marks Schrage’s second consecutive strong points haul and moved him into fifth in the championship standings with three races remaining.

Schrage’s win also secured the PFC Award for TJ Speed Motorsports owner Tim Neff, presented to the owner of the winning entry.

Alianell showed encouraging pace throughout the weekend as he continued to build experience on the unique Milwaukee Mile layout. While the result did not reflect the potential demonstrated during the weekend, Alianell continued to gain valuable oval experience that will serve as an important foundation moving forward.

TJ Speed Motorsports will now turn its attention to the 2026 USF Pro 2000 season finale at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. The three-race finale will feature Rounds 16, 17 and 18 from September 24–26, where the team will look to carry its Milwaukee momentum into the final weekend of the season.
