No better place to be than Indy in the Month of May

PITTSBORO, Ind. – TJ Speed is back in action this week for one of the most unique and anticipated stops of the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire season — the Freedom 90 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. As the only oval event of the year, the Freedom 90 presents a fresh challenge for teams and drivers, and TJ Speed is ready to take it head-on with a strong two-car lineup.

Taking place Thursday and Friday, just ahead of the legendary Indianapolis 500, the Freedom 90 is a marquee event that places drivers in the spotlight during one of the most iconic weeks in motorsport.

Leading the charge for TJ Speed is Ariel Elkin, fresh off a dominant weekend on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, where he scored back-to-back wins and three pole positions in the triple-header event. Elkin’s momentum makes him one to watch as he takes to the short oval for the first time this season.

Joining Elkin is Sebastian Manson, who continues to show steady development and resilience through the early rounds of the season. A rookie in North American motorsports, Manson has continued his trajectory and scored one of his best results of the season just last weekend in Indy.

“The Freedom 90 is always a turning point in the season,” said TJ Speed’s Tim Neff. “Oval racing demands a different mindset and skillset, and we’ve been preparing hard to give our drivers the confidence they need to perform. Ariel is coming in hot, and Sebastian is growing stronger every weekend — we’re excited to see how they stack up.”

The weekend will begin with practice and qualifying on Thursday, followed by the 90-lap feature race on Friday night under the lights at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
