PITTSBORO, Ind. — TJ Speed Motorsports will look to carry the momentum from a strong showing at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course into this weekend’s Portland Grand Prix, the next round of the 2026 USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship. The team returns with its familiar two-car lineup of Thomas Schrage and Christian Cameron as the series heads to Portland International Raceway on August 6-8.

Schrage was the TJ Speed story of the weekend at Mid-Ohio, finishing inside the top seven in all three races with results of fourth, seventh and fifth. Cameron also showed strong pace, crossing the line sixth and 10th in the first two races before being collected in a lap one incident in race three that ended his day early. Ahead of the weekend, HMD Motorsports INDY NXT driver Nicolas Stati will take to the track for a test session on Thursday to get acquainted with the Portland circuit before on-track competition begins.

Team owner Tim Neff is looking to keep the momentum going as the series heads west.

“We are aiming to continue the top-ten and top-five performances that we have had recently and come to Portland, a track that we have had success at in the past, with drive and determination,” said Neff. “With the series winding down and plans growing for 2027, with both our United States and New Zealand efforts, we are pushing very hard both on and off the track.”

With momentum building from Mid-Ohio and the series shifting to the West Coast, TJ Speed looks forward to carrying that consistency into the closing stretch of the 2026 championship at Portland before looking forward towards the final events of the season.

On top of closing 2026 with speed and momentum, TJ Speed is already looking forward to both the 2027 USF Pro 2000 Championship, and the Castrol Toyota Formula Oceania Championship in New Zealand.
