Team Prepares for Rounds 6-8 of USF Pro 2000 Championship

Indianapolis, Ind. – Turn 3 Motorsport is gearing up for the next round of the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire set to take place this weekend at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway Grand Prix circuit. The tripleheader event will feature Rounds 6, 7 and 8 of the championship on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course as the team looks to continue its momentum and strengthen its presence in the title fight.

This weekend will also mark the addition of two new drivers to the Turn 3 Motorsport lineup. Brady Golan, a 17-year-old rookie from Austin, Texas, will make his USF Pro 2000 debut in the #3 Turn 3 Motorsport car after pulling double duty competing in both the USF2000 Championship and USF Juniors Championship in 2024, following his rookie campaign in USF Juniors in 2023. Golan is also currently competing in the Formula Regional Americas Championship, where he earned a race win in the opening round at NOLA Motorsports Park and is sitting second in the standings. He will contest the remainder of the 2025 USF Pro 2000 season with Turn 3 Motorsport.

Joining him will be Nicholas Monteiro, a 21-year-old Brazilian-American driver currently in his third season of USF Pro 2000 competition. Monteiro will transition to Turn 3 Motorsport beginning with the IMS Grand Prix and will drive the #22 Pegcard car. Monteiro brings solid pace and valuable experience, including multiple top-10 finishes throughout his career in the series. His best finish to date is seventh place, achieved in Race 2 at Toronto in 2024. Starting from 19th on the grid, he gained 12 positions to secure the result and earned the Tilton Hard Charger Award for his performance.

Continuing with the team are championship contender Alessandro de Tullio (#44 Astropay), sophomore driver Tyke Durst (#33 Freight Handlers Inc. / Relay Payments / Drive Toward a Cure), and Cooper Becklin (#2 Helmet House), who is continuing to build momentum after a season-best result at NOLA Motorsports Park.

At the previous tripleheader at NOLA Motorsports Park, de Tullio claimed two wins and a second-place finish, bringing his season total to three wins and five podiums. He currently sits second in the drivers’ championship, 16 points behind leader Max Garcia. Durst also secured his first top-10 of the season with a 10th place in Race 1 at NOLA, while Becklin wrapped up the weekend with an eighth-place finish in Race 3, marking a strong weekend for the team.

BRADY GOLAN // #3 USF PRO 2000

“I’m excited to officially announce that I’ll be finishing out the season with Turn 3 Motorsport,” said Golan. “A huge thank you to Mandy and Peter Dempsey for welcoming me into their program and giving me the opportunity to take the wheel of the No. 3 car. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together both now and in the future. Kicking things off at Indy GP alongside INDYCAR is always special. The main goal this weekend is to get acclimated to both the team and the car. The USF Pro 2000 is definitely the most physical and mentally demanding car I’ve driven so far, but I’ve put in a lot of work outside the race track and feel ready to take on the challenge with Turn 3 Motorsport.”

NICHOLAS MONTEIRO // #22 USF PRO 2000
Pegcard

“I’m really excited to join Turn 3 Motorsport this weekend at Indianapolis," said Monteiro. "It’s a team with a strong reputation and proven pace, and I’m eager to contribute and build on that success. We have three races this weekend, so there's a lot of opportunity to be quick and make progress. I’m confident that with the team’s support, we’ll be able to put together a strong weekend."

ALESSANDRO DE TULLIO // #44 USF PRO 2000
Astropay

“I’m excited for another triple header this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway,” said de Tullio. “We were strong here during pre-season testing at the end of last year, so I’m looking forward to coming back and building on that strength to have another good weekend.”

TYKE DURST // #33 USF PRO 2000
Freight Handlers Inc. / Relay Payments / Drive Toward a Cure

“I’m really looking forward to getting back after it in Indianapolis,” said Durst. “This event always has significance, and I can’t help but feel star struck on that first lap. We found some one lap pace at NOLA, so now we just need to convert it in the races. I can’t wait to put that to the test and give it my best shot at greatest race track in the world.”

COOPER BECKLIN // #2 USF PRO 2000
Helmet House

“I’m super excited to get out there and race this weekend at IMS,” said Becklin. “It will be my first time racing here, so I can’t wait to continue to learn and hopefully bring some good results home for the team!”

“It’s great to be back to five cars for the remainder of the year,” said Team Owner Peter Dempsey. “Having Nick (Monteiro) join the team with his experience will be valuable to us. I believe we can do a great job for him and hopefully he can prove that he is ready to compete at the front of the series.”

“Brady is an exciting prospect,” continued Dempsey. “He has limited racing experience, but in talking to him, I can see he is focused and ready for the challenge ahead. Once he gets comfortable with the car and the team, I think you will see him reach the goals he has set out for 2025.”

“Coming off a strong weekend at NOLA, it’s important we stay fully focused on our jobs to make sure to keep our performance up as a team if we want to keep fighting for the driver’s championship,” Dempsey added. “With three races on the schedule and valuable points on the line, the team is focused on executing a strong weekend from start to finish at one of the most iconic circuits on the calendar.”

Event activities begin Thursday, May 8, with pre-event testing and official practice sessions. Qualifying and races will follow on Friday and Saturday. Live video coverage will be available on the USF Pro Championships app and YouTube channels throughout the weekend.
