LEXINGTON, Ohio – Turn 3 Motorsport continued its consistent run in the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship, collecting a string of top-10 finishes during Rounds 13 and 14 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Highlighted by a fourth-place finish from Alessandro de Tullio and a best-career qualifying result from sophomore Tyke Durst, the team’s five-car lineup showed strong pace and determination on the 2.258-mile, 13-turn circuit.

The team’s results across the two races included top-10 finishes from de Tullio, Nicholas Monteiro and Cooper Becklin in Race 1, as well as a P7 result for de Tullio and a hard-fought P10 for Durst in Race 2. Brady Golan, back in the #3 car, steadily improved over the weekend, finishing just outside the top 10 in both races.

Race 1 Recap
Turn 3 Motorsport came into Saturday’s race with strong qualifying positions, with de Tullio starting P3 and Becklin a career-best P5. De Tullio fought hard in a battle for the podium, briefly dropping to fourth before reclaiming third from Max Taylor on Lap 4. He would ultimately finish P4 after a restart shuffled the order.

Monteiro advanced from P8 to P6, continuing his string of consistent results despite a mid-race drop in pace. Becklin recovered from a three-wide battle early in the race to climb back into the top 10, overtaking late to finish P8. Golan also gained ground, moving up to P11 by the checkered flag.

Despite an early spin, Durst showed his pace with his fastest lap of the race on Lap 24 of 30. That performance earned him a career-best starting position of P5 for Sunday’s Race 2. He would finish P15 after an otherwise impressive recovery drive.

Race 2 Recap
Sunday’s Race 2 saw Durst line up fifth on the grid thanks to his strong pace in Race 1. Contact at the start sent Monteiro to the pits for a new front wing, placing him a lap down and ending hopes of a repeat top-10.

De Tullio climbed from P10 to P7, engaging in a prolonged battle with the #88 car of Max Taylor. Despite multiple attempts, he was unable to find a way past on track, though a post-race penalty later issued to Taylor confirmed the challenge of the fight.

Becklin once again moved forward to finish P9, and Durst held his ground to bring home a P10 result—matching his best finish of the season. Golan improved again to P11, capping a solid return to the car.

#44 Alessandro De Tullio // USF Pro 2000 // Astropay
“Another weekend full of struggles for us. We managed to put together a good lap in qualifying, but unfortunately our pace over the long runs just wasn’t where it needed to be. As a team, we’re working hard to understand what’s affecting our performance and how we can improve. Now it’s time to regroup, analyze everything, and finish the season where we know we belong. As always, a big thank you to the whole team for sticking together and putting in the effort all weekend.”

#2 Cooper Becklin // USF Pro 2000 // Helmet House
“We had the pace all weekend, we just needed a bit of luck on our side to capitalize on it. The car felt strong, and I think we showed that in both races, even if the results didn’t fully reflect our potential. There were a few moments that didn’t go our way, but overall it was a solid step forward. I’m confident in the direction we’re heading and excited to keep building on this momentum. Looking forward to carrying that progress into Toronto.”

#22 Nicholas Monteiro // USF Pro 2000 // Pegcard
“Race 1 was a solid result for us with another top-six finish, which is always a positive takeaway. We had good pace early on, but I struggled a bit mid-race to maintain position. Race 2 was unfortunate with the contact on the first lap that took us out of contention, but that’s racing sometimes. The team did a great job getting the car repaired and back out there. We’ll take the positives and keep pushing as we head into Toronto.

#33 Tyke Durst // USF Pro 2000 // Freight Handlers Inc. / Relay Payments / Drive Toward a Cure
"We showed some great potential this weekend. In Race 1 after an incident, we were the only car on the leader’s pace and were able to start Race 2 in P5. Unfortunately, when the lights were bright it wasn’t there. Considering I’ve been dog sick and unable to work physically, we’ll take the results we got from this weekend. I’m really looking forward to the high downforce tracks coming up at Toronto and Portland. There I will prove that I belong and the pace I had wasn’t a fluke I’ll be working hard to guarantee that.”

#3 Brady Golan // USF Pro 2000
“We wrapped up the weekend at Mid-Ohio just outside the top 10 in both races. While the results didn’t show it, it was a big step forward and one of the most productive weekends I’ve had. I really learned a ton. Getting the chance to wheel the No. 3 car for two long races on the best holiday of the year was an absolute blast. Massive thanks to all the folks at Turn 3 Motorsport for this weekend’s honky tonk. Onto Toronto!”

Team Owner, Peter Dempsey
“Overall the weekend was okay. We certainly didn’t have the outright pace to challenge for the win, but I feel the 2, 3 and 33 drivers really made a step forward this weekend. All of them showed that they have the speed to compete at the front in moments throughout the weekend. Alessandro (de Tullio) and Nick (Monteiro) didn’t have the best weekends with regards to outright speed, but this is something we can learn from and be better with going to Toronto. Toronto will be good as all our drivers have been there before, so with the limited track time, this should be an advantage for them. It’s also a track we have always been strong at, and at this point of the season I expect the drivers to be ready to fight for good results.”

Turn 3 Motorsport will return to action later this month for the tripleheader weekend at Toronto’s Exhibition Place, where the team will take on the challenging street circuit for Rounds 15 and 16 of the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship.
