Team Prepares for the Only Oval Event of the USF Pro 2000 Season

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Turn 3 Motorsport is set to take on the only oval event of the 2025 USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire season this weekend at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. The 0.686-mile oval will host Round 9 of the championship as part of the prestigious Carb Night Classic, one of the most anticipated short-track events in the country, held annually in the lead-up to the Indianapolis 500. The Freedom 90 will take place under the lights on Friday evening, with championship points worth one and a half times their usual value, making it one of the most pivotal races of the season.

#2 Cooper Becklin // USF Pro 2000 Helmet House
“I’m super excited to see what the oval offers for the race. Hopefully we can continue on from the last round with good finishes for myself and the team.”

#3 Brady Golan // USF Pro 2000
“It’s my first time racing an oval, so I’m super excited to get out there for the Freedom 90. Turn 3 Motorsport has been awesome, and I know they’ll give me a strong car. Even if my brain’s pretending it’s not stressed, I know this will be by far the most physical race of the year. It’s a new challenge, but I’m ready to go left, fast, and see what we can do!”

#22 Nicholas Monteiro // USF Pro 2000 Pegcard
“The oval brings a totally different style of racing and strategy, and I’m looking forward to the challenge. We had a strong run at the Indy GP, and I’m hoping to keep that momentum going into the Freedom 90. With points being worth more this weekend, there’s a big opportunity for us to gain ground in the championship.”

#33 Tyke Durst // USF Pro 2000 Freight Handlers Inc. / Relay Payments / Drive Toward a Cure
“Following some good tests I’m really excited and feel ready to take on the oval this weekend. We found some issues with our car's pace at the series test in Mid-Ohio, and with these issues fixed I’m excited to get back in the fight. IRP is an interesting track, and being our only oval provides a great learning opportunity. I’m looking forward to grabbing that opportunity with both hands and getting after it this weekend.”

#44 Alessandro de Tullio // USF Pro 2000 Astropay
“I’m excited to get into the first oval race of my career. It will be a new experience for me, but after the tests we have done I’m feeling confident with the pace we have to get a good result.”

Testing, practice and qualifying will take place on Thursday, May 22, before the highly anticipated night race kicks off Friday, May 23.
