PORTLAND, Ore. – Turn 3 Motorsport returns to competition this weekend at Portland International Raceway for Rounds 11 and 12 of the USF Pro 2000 Championship presented by Continental Tire, carrying both the Drivers and Team Championship leads into the final stretch of the 2026 season. Leonardo Escorpioni, Brady Golan, Tyke Durst and Sebastian Manson will make up the team’s four-car lineup as Turn 3 Motorsport looks to build on a dominant Fourth of July weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

 

Turn 3 Motorsport arrives at Portland’s 1.964-mile, 12-turn road course following its strongest weekend of the season, where Escorpioni swept all three races at Mid-Ohio to take control of the Drivers Championship. The #4 driver earned three victories and two pole positions across the tripleheader, bringing his season total to four wins and three pole positions and moving to the top of the standings with eight races remaining. Michael Costello also joined Escorpioni on the podium with a third-place finish in Race 2, helping Turn 3 Motorsport further strengthen its lead in the Team Championship.

 

After a month-long break in the schedule, Portland begins the final run of the championship and offers the team its first opportunity to build on the success established at Mid-Ohio. Golan returns in the #44 after closing the previous event with a charge from 14th to sixth and the Tilton Hard Charger Award, while Durst and Manson will look to capitalize on the final stretch of the season and close out their 2026 campaigns with strong results.

 

Costello will be absent from the Turn 3 Motorsport lineup for the upcoming rounds at Portland and Markham as he continues to work toward securing the funding needed to complete the season. The #2 driver has been a key part of the team’s 2026 campaign, earning his first career USF Pro 2000 victory at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park and contributing valuable points throughout the opening 10 rounds.

 

With the championship battle entering its decisive stages, Turn 3 Motorsport will focus on maximizing each opportunity across the Portland doubleheader while continuing its pursuit of both the Drivers and Team Championship titles.

“A familiar but distant setting out on the Pacific Coast starts the final chapter of the year,” said Durst. “This last sprint is our final opportunity to show what we can do, and I’m looking forward to every lap from here on out. I plan on fighting for the podium at every opportunity. We’ve had a bit of a break to reflect on what this year has tested us with, and with some fresh perspective, I’m ready to take on whatever challenges come our way out west.”

“I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car after the break,” said Escorpioni. “Mid-Ohio was an incredible weekend for us, but now the focus completely resets for Portland. We’re leading the championship, so the goal is to keep doing what has gotten us here — execute each session, maximize every opportunity, and keep scoring strong points. The team has worked incredibly hard all season, and I’m excited to start this final stretch and keep fighting for wins.”

“After a nice little break, I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car and finishing the year strong,” said Manson. “Portland is an amazing track, and I can’t wait to get out there. We had some solid results at Mid-Ohio, so hopefully we can build on that and put together a strong weekend.”

“The break gave us a good opportunity to reset and look at where we can improve heading into the final part of the season,” said Golan. “I felt like we ended Mid-Ohio on a positive note with the drive from 14th to sixth, and I’m looking forward to building on that in Portland. I really enjoy the challenge of this track, and I think we have everything we need to put together a strong weekend. The goal now is to execute from the first session and finish the year the way we know we’re capable of.”

The Continental Tire Grand Prix of Portland weekend begins Thursday, August 6 with two official test sessions at Portland International Raceway before practice and qualifying take place Friday morning. Race 1 will get underway Friday at 5:05pm PT followed by Race 2 on Saturday at 2:30pm PT.
