Escorpioni rejoins title fight as increased points raise the stakes at Milwaukee

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – Turn 3 Motorsport takes on the historic Milwaukee Mile this weekend for the next round of the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship, with Leonardo Escorpioni rejoining Brady Golan, Tyke Durst and Sebastian Manson for the second oval event of the 2026 season. Escorpioni returns to competition just 33 points from the Drivers Championship lead despite missing both races at Markham, while Turn 3 Motorsport continues to lead the Team Championship standings.

After scoring zero points during the Canadian doubleheader, Escorpioni will look to regain lost ground at an especially valuable point in the championship. As the penultimate round of the 2026 season, Milwaukee represents one of the final opportunities to make a significant move in the standings, with oval events awarding 1.5 times the standard points. The increased points on offer give the five-time race winner and five-time polesitter a critical opportunity to close the 33-point gap and strengthen his position heading into the season finale.

Turn 3 Motorsport also enters the weekend with a strong baseline from the official series test held at the one-mile oval earlier this season. Michael Costello topped the overall timing sheets with Escorpioni second and Golan fourth, giving the team valuable experience to draw from as it looks to maximize the increased points opportunity and continue its pursuit of both championship titles.

“I’m really looking forward to being back in the car this weekend. Obviously, missing Markham was tough and we lost some ground in the championship, but we’re still very much in the fight. With the extra points available and only two events remaining, Milwaukee is a big opportunity for us. We had a really strong test here earlier in the season, so I know we have a good car. The goal is to maximize everything we can this weekend and put ourselves in the best possible position heading into the finale.”

#44 Brady Golan // USF Pro 2000 Marina
“I’m excited to get back on an oval this weekend. IRP was one of our stronger races this season, and we also had a really productive test here at Milwaukee, so I feel good about what we’re bringing into the weekend. Oval racing is always a different challenge, especially with the increased points available, so execution is going to be really important. Hopefully we can put everything together and come away with a strong result.”

#22 Sebastian Manson // USF Pro 2000 Mansons TCLM / Maramarua Beef / Ted Manson Foundation / Express Plumbing
“I’m really looking forward to Milwaukee and getting another chance to race on an oval. We’re coming off one of our strongest weekends of the year in Markham, so hopefully we can carry some of that into this weekend. We learned a lot at the test here earlier in the season, and with the extra points available, it’s an important race for everyone. I’m excited to get back in the car and see what we can do.”

#3 Tyke Durst // USF Pro 2000 FHI / Relay Payments / Drive Toward A Cure
“I’m really excited to close out this stretch here in one of my favorite states. On top of that, we have another oval, which throws a lot of excitement and learning into the weekend. We had a good test here back in June, and the #3 car crew and I are looking to build on that from the out-lap here at the Mile. I’m ready to get going and see what we can accomplish.”

The USF Pro 2000 Championship takes to the Milwaukee Mile this weekend for its second and final oval event of the 2026 season. With 1.5 times the standard championship points available, the historic one-mile oval will play an important role in the title fight as Turn 3 Motorsport looks to capitalize on the opportunity and finish the season strongly.
