A season's worth of Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires racing across North America will come to an end for JDC MotorSports this coming weekend (October 5-6) in Houston, Texas. JDC MotorSports caps off its successful 2013 campaign on a street circuit that encircles Reliant Park with its young trio of Zack Meyer, Juan Piedrahita, and Lloyd Read seeking to end the year on a high-note.

The Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires makes its first visit to the renowned Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in over six years this weekend (August 3-4), and JDC MotorSports is focused on returning to the forefront. With Zack Meyer, Juan Piedrahita, and Lloyd Read getting behind the wheels, the Minnesota-based squad will be seeking to make the most of the experience and expertise that has led to the team to three series titles, as its challenges for top honors in Rounds 11 and 12.

This coming weekend's Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course doubleheader has attracted one of the biggest fields so far this season in the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, and three of the 16 entries will be fielded by M1 Racing of Dallas.

Kyle Kaiser, and the World Speed Motorsports team loaded up the #18 Pro Formula Mazda and headed toward Mid-Ohio this past weekend after the first Canadian leg of the championship. "The Canadian tracks are technical and don't leave much if any room for error," noted Team Owner Telo Stewart. "Kyle is on a two year program, and one of our major goals this year is really getting to know each venue, and learning to adapt quickly to them. While some sessions have been harder than others, Kyle has always been able to bring us a solid finish in the races. These solid finishes have him currently sitting SIXth in the championship."

JDC MotorSports earned valuable Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires points this past weekend (July 20-21) with a solid, yet trying effort at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Both Zack Meyer and Lloyd Read showcased good skill behind the wheel in Rounds Nine and Ten, each exiting the twin bill with a pair of top-10s. Juan Piedrahita only took part in the opening affair, following a significant incident. The three-time series champion is now focused on re-igniting its quest for top honors in Ohio.
