The World Speed Motorsports team has returned to Sonoma after a tough double header at The Grand Prix of Houston at Reliant Park last weekend.

As part of a multi-level effort by JDC MotorSports in the Mazda Road to Indy program, Juan Piedrahita, Lloyd Read, and Zack Meyer contested the final rounds of the series in Houston, Texas, exited the finale with a podium finish and two-year end awards.

Just 10 months after it was formed, Dallas-based M1 Racing has earned a championship.

Venezuelan driver Diego Ferreira claimed the second place position of the 2013 Pro Mazda Championship while teammate, Scott Anderson, clenched the fifth place position of the Championship during the season finale at the Gran Prix of Houston. Juncos Racing was also awarded with the second place position in the 2013 Pro Mazda Championship team standings.
