The future stars of the Verizon IndyCar Series will display their talents this weekend on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., as all three levels of the Mazda Road to Indy development ladder will commence their 2015 seasons.

Series sophomores Michael Johnson and Kyle Connery will lead the squad, while rookies Raoul Owens and Parker Nicklin are highly-motivated to contend from the very first green flag of the year.

St. Petersburg-based Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing is ready to tackle the 2015 Pro Mazda Presented by Cooper Tires season with a three-car assault at its home track this weekend. Drivers Neil Alberico, Daniel Burkett and Florian Latorre are focused on victory in the Allied Building Products Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Will Owen will start off his rookie season in the Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires this weekend at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, he will be behind the wheel of the #23 AMR Juncos Racing machine.

On the verge of the 2015 INDYCAR season-opening races on the streets of St. Petersburg this week, Mazda Road to Indy TV today rolled out the “Official App” for the three series comprising the ladder system to the Verizon IndyCar Series – Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda.
