Will Owen scored his second podium in a row in the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires after finishing a close second at the Cooper Tires Freedom 90 this weekend. The young rookie has put together a string of strong results halfway through the season and has now climbed to fifth in the championship with 142 points.

Team Pelfrey's Santi Urrutia retained his championship lead, despite not finishing after brushing the wall, while Patricio O'Ward finished seventh in the Freedom 90, part of the #MRTI FreedomFest, at Lucas Oil Raceway.

It was a difficult day for Timothe Buret at the Cooper Tires Freedom 90 this weekend. The young Frenchman showed strong potential during his first-ever oval race but was then forced to retire due to damage to his Pro Mazda race car. Despite the problematic finish, Buret is still in the fight for the championship and currently sits third with 162 points.

Andretti Autosport's Weiron Tan led from flag to flag in today's Freedom 90 at Lucas Oil Raceway for his third win of the season.

Buret comes in to this race with strong momentum after completing his best weekend of the season at the Indianapolis Grand Prix, where he scored his first Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires career victory and was on the podium in each of the three races.
