  • Pro Mazda and USF2000 Head to ‘Night Before the 500’

    The Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda return to racing action this week with the traditional Visit Hendricks County ‘Night Before the 500’ at Lucas Oil Raceway. Rising drivers on the first two levels of the Mazda Road to Indy will join the USAC Midget Series for a night of racing under the lights on May 25, the evening before the 97th running of the Indianapolis 500.

  • Upcoming Driver Jose Gutierrez Joins Juncos Racing at Mid-Ohio Test

    Jose Gutierrez will turn his first laps with Juncos Racing in the Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires Thursday May 9th at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course’s official series test. Gutierrez will run a limited race schedule this season with Juncos Racing including Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in August and the newly added street course in Houston, Texas this October.

  • JDC MotorSports Exits Pro Mazda Twin Bill in St. Petersburg with Valuable Experience

    The second event on the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires calendar this past weekend (March 23-24) proved to be a experience building affair for JDC MotorSports. As part of the IndyCar Series season-opener in St. Petersburg, Fla., the talented foursome of Nick Andries, Zack Meyer, Juan Piedrahita, and Lloyd Read showcased their racecraft on the challenging street circuit, but emerged without the results desired. The Minnesota-based squad, however, is poised to make the most of the knowledge gained to fight for top honors when the action resumes in late May with the opening oval event.
