Clearly scoring his first-ever USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire victory yesterday wasn’t enough for G3 Argyros. The talented young racer from Newport Beach, Calif., started from pole position in this morning’s second leg of The Andersen Companies Grand Prix of Road America Presented by Elite Engines, led every lap and posted the fastest race lap for good measure to become the first driver to accumulate a maximum score of 33 points this season.

G3 Argyros this afternoon came from behind to claim a fine maiden USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire victory in the first of two races that will comprise The Andersen Companies Grand Prix of Road America Presented by Elite Engines.

Turn 3 Motorsport heads to Road America this weekend for Rounds 6 and 7 of the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire championship. Michael Costello (#2), Leonardo Escorpioni (#4), Tyke Durst (#3) and Sebastian Manson (#22) will represent the team at the fan-favorite 4.014-mile, 14-turn road course as the championship battle continues to intensify entering the second half of the season.

A three-week hiatus from racing for the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire will conclude this week, June 18-21, as the top two rungs on the acclaimed driver development ladder, USF Pro 2000 and USF2000, return to action at Road America.
