Lochie Hughes this morning took a big step toward his ultimate goal of winning this year’s USF Pro 2000 championship title by virtue of dominating the second leg of the Continental Tire Grand Prix of Toronto for Turn 3 Motorsport.

A dramatic first-corner incident in this afternoon’s USF Pro 2000 Continental Tire Grand Prix of Toronto involved two of the top three championship contenders and allowed last year’s USF2000 champion Simon Sikes to pounce and ultimately claim his second victory of the season for Pabst Racing.
