  • JDC MotorSports Improves Pace and Consistency

    When JDC MotorSports headed into the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, it did so with a tent full of drivers who were new to the program. The team’s focus was to develop these young drivers quickly, giving them ample opportunity to learn a new racecar, its performance and its mechanical dynamics. Over the first two events on the schedule, JDC drivers Ryan Booth, Kyle Connery and Michael Johnson did exactly that, scoring solid finishes while they came to grips with their Pro Mazda race cars.

  • Double Podium Weekend for Alberico at Indianapolis

    It was a historic weekend for California open-wheel formula car star Neil Alberico at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this past week. The inaugural Allied Building Products Grand Prix of Indianapolis was held on May 7-10, as Alberico contested rounds five and six of the Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires.

  • Gutiérrez Takes Third for Juncos Racing at Indianapolis

    Rounds 5 and 6 of the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires proved to be filled with lots of action on the 2.439-mile road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Rookie José Gutiérrez added another podium for Juncos Racing finishing a season best third at the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis. Teammates Kyle Kaiser, Julia Ballario, and Spencer Pigot all finished inside the Top-10.

  • Hargrove Sweeps Double Header at Grand Prix of Indianapolis

    Scott Hargrove came to the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis 44 points behind in the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and ended the weekend trailing by just a handful of points.

  • M1 Racing's Rabe and Horak Finish One-Two in Expert Class

    M1 Racing's Nicolas Costa made another stirring charge during Pro Mazda competition Saturday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Coming from the 15th starting position, he had just taken second following a restart with six laps to go in the 20-lap race when there was contact with the driver he'd just passed. Costa ended up backwards in the wall entering Turn 1 for a 16th-place finish in round six of the series, which is presented by Cooper Tires.
